Entering Transaction to register

When I add more details to a transaction in Bank Feeds I enter save and add to register. The date field in the register is changing to the date I add the transaction instead of the date of the transaction. QuickBooks Desktop.

I got you covered with your issue about the date field in your bank feeds.

 

It might be your QuickBooks Desktop is an outdated version. It might cause a small problem when using some features on the software.

 

You can update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest version. This way, it will keep your software up-to-date so you always have the latest feature and fixes.

 

Update your QuickBooks Desktop manually:

 

  1. Close your company file and your QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Windows Start menu.
  3. Search for QuickBooks Desktop.
  4. Right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon and choose the Run as administrator option.
  5. In the No Company screen, go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  6. Click the Options tab.
  7. Choose Mark All and then Save.
  8. Select the Update Now, then put a checkmark in the Reset Update box.
  9. Hit the Get Updates button to start the update.

 

After the update, close and reopen your QuickBooks Desktop. Then, select Yes to install the updates. Once done installing, restart your computer.
