Before performing any troubleshooting, may I know the steps you’ve performed? This way, I can l provide a timely solution. While waiting, let me share some information about what causes this error.
- The files from the bank are incomplete or in the wrong format.
- Updates on the financial institution can also create issues.
When you’re ready, create a backup of the company file first to prevent accidental loss. Then, update Internet Explorer to the latest version. If you encounter any issues, let me know the specific error so I can look into this further.
Next, log in to your financial institution and download the Web Connect file. Open the company file and import the transactions.
Here’s how:
- Go to the Banking menu to select Bank Feeds and Import Web Connect Files.
- Choose the QBO file and then click Open.
- When prompted to Select Bank Account, pick the appropriate option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
