Thanks for visiting us here today, @MAROB.
I'll share the steps on how to fix System.TypeInitializationException error. You'll encounter this error when QuickBooks can’t access the fiblueprint.xml file because of user permission restrictions. This usually happens when you use QuickBooks in a hosted, terminal service, or Citrix environment.
You'll want to make sure you have appropriate user permission to C:\ProgramData to resolve this. Here's how:
- Find and open your QuickBooks folder in C:\ProgramData. You can also press F2 on your QuickBooks Home Page to see the location (see the image below).
- Locate and double-click on the fiblueprint.xml file.
- If the file opens, close it and restart QuickBooks. Retry working on your bank feeds.
- If you can’t, you need to grant full access to your profile. To do this:
- Right-click anywhere in the folder and select Properties.
- Go to the Security tab, then Edit.
- In the “Group or user names” section, tap Everyone.
- In the “Permissions for Everyone” section, tick Full control.
- Close the Edit and Properties windows.
- Restart your computer, then open QuickBooks. Retry working on your bank feeds.
If the above steps don't work, proceed with Solution 2 and 3 under System.TypeInitializationException in this article: Fix System Exception errors.
