Have you had issues connecting QB to Zions Bank accounts?

I'm here to help you connect your account, jeffhirst-biz.

Did you encounter any error messages when connecting your Zion bank account to QuickBooks Online? Adding more details will help us determine the cause of this.

There are several possibilties why your bank account won't connect, and I've listed them below:

  • The bank may not be a participating bank.
  • Your bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • Bank is having a system maintenance.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one, or try all possible bank URL.

I'd recommend reaching to your bank to know if there are any maintenance update or request to establish a connection with QuickBooks. If everything is good from your bank's side, make sure to select the correct bank name when connecting the account. For more details, please see this article: Connect Bank and Credit Card Accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Also, let's access your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This is a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once signed in, connect your bank transactions again. If it works, let's clear its cache and cookies to improve the program's performance. Alternatively, you can switch to other supported browsers.

You can also manually import the transactions into QuickBooks. Then, categorize them to ensure they're added to the correct accounts.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you ensure your QuickBooks accounts match your bank and credit card statements: Reconciliation Workflow.

Please keep us posted if you need additional assistance connecting your bank accounts. We're always here to help you out.

Another option, utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
