It's sad to know that you've come up with a decision to delete your QuickBooks account.
You can cancel your subscription and after a year of being inactive, your company data will be deleted automatically. Follow these steps below if you've subscribed through the web:
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
- Select the Billing and Subscription tab.
- From the QuickBooks section, select Cancel.
However, if you've signed up through the app store, follow the steps outlined in this help article: Cancel QuickBooks from iTunes or Google Play on your computer.
You can also purge the whole file if the account is within 60 days old. For future reference, read through this help article: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.
