Hi- missing transactions for linked bank and credit card accounts between Sep and Dec 2023. Can find transactions before and after the dates in Quick books

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Hi- missing transactions for linked bank and credit card accounts between Sep and Dec 2023. Can find transactions before and after the dates in Quick books

Let me help you import the missing transactions to QuickBooks Online, @drmathursurbhi-g.

You can import missing data by downloading a CSV file and manually uploading it to your bank register.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Make sure to follow your bank's instructions on how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer.
  3. Double-check the date range for the download, it's at least one day before your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions and save the file somewhere you can find easily.

Next is to upload the transactions to QuickBooks:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Hover to Transactions, then click on Bank Transactions.
  3. Choose the bank account to which you want to upload the transactions.
  4. Click on the Link account dropdown, then select Upload from file.
  5. Select either Drag and drop or select files and find the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, click on Continue.
  6. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account to which you want to upload the transactions. Then, hit on Continue.
  7. Make sure to follow the steps given to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then click on Continue.
  8. Choose the transactions you like to import. Then tap on Continue.
  9. Select Yes to confirm. Then click on Done to complete the process.

Once you've completed these steps, you can start adding and matching your transactions to ensure they go to the right accounts and prevent duplicates.
