Hi! My transactions jump from 3/13 to 5/26 (the dates). I was definitely using my card in between. Does anyone know why this might be and how to pull those transactions?

Hi! My transactions jump from 3/13 to 5/26 (the dates). I was definitely using my card in between. Does anyone know why this might be and how to pull those transactions?

I'm here to help you pull up those transactions that aren't downloading, laura-lea-goldbe.

There are several reasons why you're unable to receive the lastest bank transactions.

  • The bank may have implemented changes to their service offerings, Web Connect or Direct Connect.
  • There's an update on your bank’s information such as the name (bank merger), account number and login credentials that require you to refresh it in QuickBooks.
  • You may have an Inactive Bank Account enabled for Online Banking in QuickBooks-Self Employed (QBSE).
  • There may be ongoing maintenance on your bank’s website.

You can run a manual update to ensure your bank transactions are up to date. Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear icon.
  2. Choose Bank Account.
  3. Click Refresh On

This process will restore the bank connection and will trigger updates to your bank transactions.

Here are some articles that can help you add transactions manually in QBSE:

You'll want to categorize transactions you downloaded from your bank, here's an article that you can refer to for your future reference: Categorize Transactions In QuickBooks-Self Employed.
