How can I get rid of some of the junk that is now cluttering up the dashboard page?

I can help customize your QuickBooks Online Dashboard, @paradox_comp.

First, you can do a few tweaks to disable the Cash Flow Widget showing up on your Dashboard. Let me guide you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and then choose QuickBooks labs under Your Company.
  2. Click the Cash Flow Dashboard Widget radio button to turn it off.
  3. On the pop-up window, you can select either Yes or No depending on whether you'd like to give feedback or not.
  4. Select Done when you're ready.
  5. Then, log out and then log back in to your account to refresh the system and for the changes to take effect.

On the other hand, we're unable to remove the rest of the widgets. For now, you can click the Privacy radio button at the upper right part. This temporarily hides all of them on your Dashboard.

In addition, you can personalize QuickBooks Online to work the way you want it to. To achieve this, you can perform some modifications on the Accounts and Settings page. For more insights, please review this article: Edit company settings.

You can count on me if you have some follow-up questions about this. I'm always around to help.
