I'm here to help you retrieve the missing bank transactions, taye181078.

The data we receive in QuickBooks depends on the information sent to us by the financial institution. If the connection between QBO and the bank is interrupted, online banking issues like missing transactions can occur, and manually updating your bank should resolve this issue.

Since transactions still not showing into the system, you can manually upload your bank transactions to your QuickBooks account. You can go to your bank's website and follow the instructions on how to download them. I've listed our supported file formats below:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

You follow these steps in uploading the file:

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu, then click the Banking tab.
  2. Hit the Upload transactions button.
  3. Click Browse, then choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  4. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down menu, then select Next
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, then click Next.
  6. When you’re ready, hit Let's go.

Once done, you can go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions.

I'll be right here to keep helping if you have any other concerns or questions about banking.

Another option, utilize SlickConnect. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
