How do I change the start date of the bank sync

I started using QB in February 2022. I am finally filing my 2021 taxes and my accountant asked for the QB report to file taxes. I have no data before Feb 2022. How do I get that data in to QB so he can view it?

Check with your bank, which file format they can provide for your bank statement. e.g *.qbo, *.csv, *.pdf

How do I change the start date of the bank sync

All the bank statements or data is in my QB starting Feb 2022, so I think the format is fine. I am trying to get it to pull in everything from 2021.

The bank feed feature doesn't support to pull historical data from your bank.

How do I change the start date of the bank sync

Hi @eric-integocorp-.

I can share some insights on how to get your prior 2021 transactions to QuickBooks.

Fiat Lux - ASIA is correct. In addition, the bank feed feature only pulls transaction data from up to 90 days (it depends on your bank) when you connect your bank account. You'll want to get your 2021 entries from your bank and manually upload transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Make sure to review the transaction date, format and size so you can upload and map the details on file.

This way, you can categorize each transaction to the correct account register and create QuickBooks reports.

I'm adding these articles for more information in case you want to edit your bank transactions and export reports:
