How do I check discrepancy in QuickBooks online with no prior reconciliation report?

The opening balance is the starting point of your account. It summarizes all your transactions and reflects the current balance of your real-life bank account

I can see that you've imported all the files to your QuickBooks account. By default, the program relies on the uploaded raw data. There are also times when unusual/unexpected behaviors occur upon importing files. This could be the reason why your opening balance didn't match your bank statement.

To ensure that everything matches your bank records from the start, you'll have to edit your opening balance in QuickBooks. I'll guide you how:

1. Select Accounting from the sidebar menu.
2. Go to Chart of Accounts.
3. Find the account holding the entry, then click View register.
4. Search for the opening balance entry. It should have "Opening Balance Equity" in the Payee Account column.
5. Click the entry to expand the view.
6. In the Deposit column, edit the balance so it matches your bank records.
7. Click Save, then choose Yes to confirm the changes.
