How do I connect my American Express Business checking account to QBO when I have already connected my other American Express Accounts?

I am trying to connect my (new) American Express Business Checking account to QBO but whenever I try to add it, only my personal accounts show up on to add to my QBO (they are already added). I can access my checking account through my Personal login on American Express. Is there a way to connect this business checking account to QBO? If so, how do I do this without removing my other American Express accounts?

Welcome to the Community, jakevolkman. I appreciate your detailed information.

Since you're not seeing one of your accounts after signing in with the appropriate login credentials, it's possible your financial institution might require some additional security steps before it can be connected. I'd recommend getting in touch with them and inquiring if there's any processes that need to be completed before it can be synced with QuickBooks.

For the time being, if your financial institution lets you download transactions as CSV files from their website, you can manually upload them into your books.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Profile (⚙) icon and choose Imports.
  2. Click Import transactions.
  3. Follow your onscreen steps to upload the file.
  4. Select Import.

I've also included a couple detailed resources about connecting bank accounts and importing transactions which may come in handy moving forward:

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have an awesome day!
