How do I consolidate and remove several years of transactions?

Hi there, @cole2004.

Thank you for joining the Community.  I'd be glad to help share some insights about removing old transactions and pull over data last year's data from your bank.

The option to consolidate and delete transactions in bulk is currently unavailable. In the meantime, you can delete the transactions manually in QuickBooks Online. Let me show you how:

  1. On the left pane, select Banking.
  2. At the top left, select the Banking tab.
  3. Choose the correct account at the top of the page.
  4. Click the Go to Register link above ACTION on the right.
  5. Click on the transaction you'd like to remove and click Delete.
  6. Select Yes to continue.

To download the last year's transactions, you can use the WebConnect feature. This way, you can export historical transactions from the bank and upload them into your QuickBooks.

For additional help, feel free to reach out to our Customer Care support. They can run the screen share tool to help you get this resolved quickly.

Here's how:

  1. Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. At the top right, select your QuickBooks version.
  3. Select a topic.
  4. Click on the Get Phone Number or Start a Message button.

These resources should help to get you on the right track for deleting and upload transactions in your account and get back to business.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions about managing transactions in QuickBooks Online. I'll be happy to help you further. Wishing you and your business continued success.
