How do I get a printout of my check register from May 1, 2019? I'm new to using QB online

Welcome to the Community forum, gpastreasurer.

I'm happy to help you get the thing that you want in your book. Printing your check register with the appropriate dates is quite easy.

Let me guide you directly to the steps on how to do it:

  1. Go to Accounting and select the Chart of Accounts tab.
  2. Let's look for the checking account. You can use the search box to find it easily.
  3. Then, click the View Register under the Action column.
  4. In the Check register page, click the drop-down arrow next to the Funnel icon.
  5. Enter the date from 05/01/2019 to the latest one.
  6. Then, Apply.

After following the steps above, it will generate all the types of transactions covered from the dates that you have set up. Then, you are now good to print them out. Click the Print icon to do so. Here's a sample screenshot for additional reference:

I would like to attach these articles. All of them contain information about the Chart of Accounts, such as managing the accounts in your book.

Would you give me some help?

I want a printout with all need columns, and no truncated columns.

My brother has the Quickbooks on his computer at his office.

I want a printout my check register.  We collapse and truncate columns, to fit 8.5x11 paper.

Its horrible to discern the truncated columns, because I second guess myself. I look at my printout from last year and I have to guess what the truncated columns say.

Would you know a fix?

Maybe printout in landscape mode, and shrink the text?

Maybe I need a special 13x19 printer to get a hard copy of the full account?

Regards,

Pat
