How do I import a general journal entry into QBO? I can convert it so a CVS or XLS, but I can't find where or how to import it in QBO.

I just converted from desktop so please be specific. I found a quickbooks reference that says to click on the gear , import data, then select journal entries, but journal entries isn't an option that shows up.

Hello there, @pkrdvm-yahoo-com.

Let me provide information on importing a general journal entry.

It might be the QuickBooks references you found is in different regions, such as the United Kingdom and Canada. In importing a general journal entry feature is not yet available in the QuickBooks US version.

However, you may search for third-party apps to help you import your journal entry transactions.

Let me walk you through the steps on how to search for a third-party app. Here's how:

To search for a third-party app through your QuickBooks Online account.

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. From the left panel, select the Apps tab.
  3. Click the Find an app button.

In the Find Apps window, you can search for an app in the field that helps you import your journal transactions. Or, you can click the Browse category to filter the search.

You may also visit this link to search for an app outside QuickBooks: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/
