How do I link my credit card to QuickBooks after linking a bank account?

I linked my first republic account but after doing so the “link account” button is hidden and I want to link my Bank of America account too.  Does QuickBooks only link to one account? Help please.

How do I link my credit card to QuickBooks after linking a bank account?

I appreciate your time reaching out to us today. Let me help you connect your credit card account in QBO.

 

Technically, you should be able to add multiple credit card accounts in QuickBooks Online. You'll only need to identify how your bank sends your downloaded transactions.

 

If your transactions download to only one account, you can connect the parent account in the bank feeds. However, if these transactions are downloaded to individual accounts, you'll only need to connect the sub-accounts instead of the parent.

 

Right now, we're unable to connect both parent and sub-accounts in QBO. Follow the steps below to connect your credit card account:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Locate the account to connect.
  4. From the Action column, select View Register.
  5. Select Connect bank.
  6. Follow the prompts to connect your bank account.
