I can help you locate your bank register and how to record a check within the QuickBooks mobile app. It only takes just a few simple steps. Note: Before doing the steps below, make sure the mobile app is up to date with the latest version.
Recording a Check
- Open the QuickBooks app.
- From the "Home" screen, select the Three Horizontal Line (Menu) in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Under the word "Menu," slide over from Shortcuts to All.
- Scroll down until you see the Expenses portion and choose Expenses.
- Above the transaction date, press Check.
- Fill in all the information for this check and click Save in the top right-hand corner when done.
Finding the Bank Register
- Go back to the Menu (Three Horizontal Lines) page.
- Make sure the option is on All instead of Shortcuts.
- In the Transactions section, hit Categories.
- Find the Bank portion and then select which bank register you'd like to look through.
