How do I merge two QuickBooks accounts into one? I just want to bring over the milage from one account to the other

Hi there, bestchoicetradin.

The option to merge two QuickBooks Self-Employed accounts into one currently not available. Then, I suggest exporting your mileage details from QBSE and import them to another account. This way, you'll be able to bring over the milage between two accounts.

Here's how to export:

  1. Choose the Miles menu.
  2. Select All from the Type dropdown.
  3. Choose the Year dropdown and then Custom date.
  4. Select the start and end dates. Then, hit Apply.
  5. Select the Download or Email icon.

For additional details, you can click this article: Export mileage info from QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Once done, the exported mileage data goes into a CSV file. With this, you can now import them to another QBSE account. Please follow the steps below.

1. Log in to your QBSE account. Then, choose the Miles tab.

2. Hit the Add trip button.

3. Select Import MileIQ trips or Import Google trips.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

To see the additional information, you can open this article: Import Google Timeline trips into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
