How do I process a memorized transaction in QBO?

Hey donal-johnson1. Thanks for reaching out to the community for this. Allow me to help and addressed your concern about Memorized Transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The memorized transaction is only available in QuickBooks Desktop. However, if you're using QBO Essentials and Plus, you have the option to set a recurring transaction for customers and vendors (such as checks, bills, invoices, sales receipts, estimates, etc).

To create a recurring template, here's how:

  1. Select the Gear Icon. in the top right corner
  2. Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
  3. Click New
  4. Select the type of transaction to create, and select OK.
  5. Enter a Template name
  6. Choose a Type — Scheduled, unscheduled or reminder.
  7. Enter the necessary information.
  8. Once done, select Save Template

For additional reference, you can check this article for the details on how to create templates for recurring transactions.

That's it! Please know that I'm just a post away if you have any other concerns about a recurring transaction on QBO. I'm always here to help you out.
