How do I stop the screen from jumping when ever I try to edit an entry

It is how it works, @dianamarquiscons.

At this time, QuickBooks automatically jumps back to the top of your list after updating an entry. As a way around, you can locate the specific entry you want to edit by customizing the tabs.

On that same page, I'll be creating a feedback ticket about your request to be submitted directly to our product developers. To keep you updated, I'm adding our blog site for reference.

Reach out to me if you have any other questions. Always ready to lend a hand.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, and I consider it a big deal.  The constant jumping back is really slowing down my work.

I am having the same issue. When editing an item I will move the screen to the center of my monitor. Then as I am editing fields the windows to the item being edited will move to the top left corner of my screen. I will move it again and continue editing. It may do this 2 or 3 times wasting time and increasingly annoy me.

Hai, @dvonderburg.

As mention by my colleague above, the automatic jumping back to the top when editing an item is working as a design of the transaction list as default.

I'll take note of this feature request so this will be considered in a future enhancement. However, you can check our QuickBooks Blog page to know the latest news and release in QuickBooks.
