How do i update my bank info? Bank of America is stuck.

Hi there, @jaustin1

I hope you're having a great day. I'm here to help guide you through updating your bank info with just a few simple clicks.

Before we get started, may I ask for you to clarify what's going on with Bank of America being stuck?  For example, are you getting an error message, or is the screen frozen? Allowing me to know more details will help me to guide you in the right direction of getting this resolved.

Okay, let's get your bank info updated. To do this:

1. Go to the Banking tab.

2. Select the correct bank account and click Update

3. Click the Edit button next to the bank name and choose Edit sign-in info

4. Enter your updated account info then choose Save and connect

5. Hit I'm done, Let's go! to confirm the changes.

Check out, How to update your bank account sign-in information for more details.

That's all there is to it. Please let me know if you have any more questions. I'll keep a lookout for your reply. Have a good one!

How do i update my bank info? Bank of America is stuck.

I haven't been able to update my checking account or my linked CC's since mid-February.

When I press update, I get the 9999 error (please try again later)

I disconnected the BofA checking account and when I try and reconnect it I am now getting a 590 error. I'm able to login to BofA, I sign the "Consent to share account info" form but it times out after that and gives me the error. I have not changed login info

Hello jaustin1,

Let me share additional information about the errors you’re getting.

Error 9999 is a script error that interrupts the connection of your bank and QuickBooks Online. And the error 590 typically occurs if your Financial Institution updated their bank's website. You're able to fix this by reconnecting and updating the login information.

However, we've received a new investigation of this concern. As of now, our banking team is currently working and investigating for an immediate resolution.

To receive resolution updates and be added to the list of affected users, I recommend contacting our Phone Care Support Team.

Here’s how:

  1. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter the affected user in the field and hit Let’s talk.
  4. Choose to Get a callback.
