How do you add previous years bank info?

Welcome aboard to the Community, @easywayidaho.

 

I can guide you on how to add previous year bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. You can use the WebConnect feature to manually import the older data into the system.

 

Before performing the process, you'll need to download the data from your financial institution's website. Check out the list below for the supported formats:

 

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

Once done, you can proceed with the importing process withing your account. Here's how:

 

  1. On the left panel, click Banking.
  2. Select the bank account.
  3. Press the drop-down arrow next to Update.
  4. Choose File upload
  5. Hit Browse
  6. Search for the bank file.
  7. Click Open.
