How do you clear the transactions in the register now ??? As of yesterday you are unable to clear the transactions.

How do you clear the transactions in the register now ??? As of yesterday you are unable to clear the transactions.

I was able to manually clear a transaction in my QBO account, mwines.

 

Can you tell us what happens when clearing transactions? Is there an error message? 

 

Have you also tried using a different browser or switch to an incognito/private browsing session? Issues within your browser can sometimes cause QBO to not function properly.

 

Let me share these keyboard shortcuts to switch to incognito mode:

 

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl Shift P for Microsoft Edge

 
After logging back in, go back to your bank register and check if you can manually clear the transactions. If you're able to do it, go back to a regular browsing session. How do you clear the transactions in the register now ??? As of yesterday you are unable to clear the transactions.

I manually entered transactions into my register, now I want them to clear so I can reconcile them in QB.  How do I do that?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community forum. I see you want to clear the transactions you manually entered so you can reconcile your account. I'm here to share information and guidelines to help you achieve your goal.

 

After you manually enter the transactions, you can also manually clear them or mark them as reconciled. You can follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to Accounting > Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the View Register link for the bank account.
  3. Filter the funnel by Reconcile StatusTransaction TypePayee, and Date.
  4. Click the Apply button.
  5. Locate the transaction and look for the letter R in the Reconcile Status (indicated by a checkmark) column. This word means Reconciled.
  6. If necessary, edit the transaction and then click Save.
