How do you create a bi-weekly recurring transaction?

Please see screenshot below as example.  This is a check scheduled to occur every 2 weeks starting on Monday.

Keep in mind, you cannot create recurring transactions in SimpleStart.  You need to have QBO Essentials or QBO Plus.

2. Choose Recurring Transactions, under the Lists column.

3. Select New, and then choose the Transaction Type.

4. Enter a name for the template.

5. Choose the Type.

This article offers details on what each type will do, and more information on setting up recurring transactions:

You'll now be able to set up recurring transactions and schedule them for whenever you need. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any other questions. Take care.

How do you create a bi-weekly recurring transaction?

Hi there,

Not sure if you resolved this issue, it is a while ago lol, but I have just found a way to do this.  If you choose weekly from the first column and then 2 weeks from the next, you should get a bi weekly recurring transaction :-)

How do you create a bi-weekly recurring transaction?

Hello, KatKWA.

I've checked with the INV provided by my colleagues above the investigation has already closed. Let's perform some basic troubleshooting to fix it. We'll start logging into your account through a private browser. It's the best spot to identify web issues. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If it works, let's clear the browser's cache. This helps remove its stored cache so QuickBooks will perform efficiently. If private browsing doesn't work, I'd recommend using different browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

However, If you get the same result while using a private or a different browser, I recommend contacting our Phone Support Team. This way, they can further investigate this matter and provide additional troubleshooting steps to get this fixed.

I've also attached an article for more information about schedule a recurring transaction and use an existing recurring template before the scheduled date, you may use this article: Schedule recurring transactions created with a template.

Please know you can continue to reach me here with any additional questions. Thanks for coming back to the Community, wishing you continued success. Stay safe!
