Welcome to the Community, @pkent1. Thanks for sharing with me the exact error code you received as you reconnect your bank account with QuickBooks.
This error code means that the user ID or password is incorrect for the bank account you’re trying to connect. To fix this error, ensure that your sign-in info is correct.
Here's how:
- Open another window in your web browser and go directly to your bank’s website.
- Take note of the web address (such as https://www.bank.com). This may come in handy later.
- Log in with the correct user ID and password. If you have separate accounts with the bank (such as a business account and a personal account), sign in to the account you want to fix in QuickBooks.
- If you sign in successfully, then you know the user ID and password are correct. If you get a sign-in error, follow your bank’s instructions to get your user ID, reset your password, or both.
Once you’re sure about your user ID and password, move on to step 2 outlined in this help article: Fix bank error 103. It has a step-by-step guide towards resolving this type of error.
For future reference, here's an article in case you'll encounter any other error messages: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
