Hello, jennifer-peacefu.
To unlink bank accounts we need to change the payments account in the Account and Settings menu. Please take note that the bank account you're going to use should be transnational. This means that there should not have limitations for QuickBooks to put money in and take fees out when needed.
Here's how to change your payments account:
You can read this article for more information about the steps above: Change the account QuickBooks deposits payments info.
Just in case you want to check when QuickBooks deposits customer payments, feel free to check out this article for more information: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
Here's also detailed guidance in cancelling a QuickBooks Payment account for any QuickBooks product: Cancel your QuickBooks Payments subscription.

I have two duplicate bank accounts in QB Online. This is causing double entries in my P&L and Management reports. How do I delete an account entirely?
I'm here to help you with your duplicate bank accounts, @malcolmf.
Before deleting an account, if it is a bank account connected to QuickBooks, you want to disconnect it first. Then make the account inactive.
Here's how to make the account inactive:
If you want to see the inactive account, you can check the bottom part of this article: Make an account inactive on your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.
After making the account inactive, the previous transactions would still show in the reports. Check this article to delete duplicate transactions: Void or delete transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Let me know if you need additional assistance in deleting an account. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
