I've got the steps on how you can update your bank login information on your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac file.
When you stored a password in the Apple keychain, QuickBooks doesn't prompt for it when you connect. However, you can use Spotlight to delete the saved password and enter a new one again. Let me guide you with these steps:
- Launch Keychain Access.
- Click on Login for the keychain.
- Select All Items for the category.
- Enter BankingAccountPassword (no spaces).
- Locate the saved password and then click Delete.
Afterwards, when you connect, the system will prompt you for the password. Then, you can save it in the keychain again.
