How to change my fees from $20/month to ‘per transaction’?

Hello there, @jankenylpc.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. Let me share some information about how you can update the subscription.

You'll need to contact our Payments Support Team regarding changing the existing plan. One of them will be able to confirm if you can switch to the per-transaction fee.

Here's how you can reach them:

  1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  2. Select Assistant at the upper right.
  3. Type Talk to a human.
  4. Enter the necessary information.
  5. Scroll down and choose either Message an agent or Get a callback

For additional reference, I've attached a link you can use about how to check QuickBooks charges on your bank statement: Understand Intuit charges on your bank statement.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be happy to help you some more.

How to change my fees from $20/month to ‘per transaction’?

I am a VERY low volume user at this point, almost retired.  Do not even have a QuickBooks account any longer.  I just need to use the Intuit reader, or key into it (now during Covid) very infrequently.  How can I change my charge to ‘per usage’ from $20/month.  There may be some months that I do not even have any income that comes through Intuit.  I will have to surrender the reader and get another per-usage service if I cannot figure this out.  Thank you.

I understand what you're feeling right now, jankenylpc.

Based on my experience, I also need assistance if I'm experiencing difficulties on a certain task.

As mentioned by my colleague above, the QBSE support team is your best resource for this. They can take a look into your account and can further assist you in changing your existing plan. You may also refer to the steps outlined above on how to contact them.

Reading through this article about understanding Intuit charges on your bank statement helps you review and verify what charges are for.

I would appreciate it if you'd update me on how the call goes. I'd like to make sure everything is taken care of for you. If I can be of any additional assistance, please just add a comment below. Thanks!
