I can share a couple of details to ensure you can manage your QuickBooks data, jcjeremiason07
If your account is less than 60 days, you have the option to purge your account. The system deletes all data from your company and you’re unable to access it again. Please know that this option is only available to the Essential, Plus, and Advanced versions of QBO.
To purge your account, you can follow these steps below:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Change the URL to include /purgecompany.
- Before: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage
- After: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
- The next screen will provide a summary of the items to be deleted.
- Type in and enter YES.
- Once the data gets deleted, click OK.
- Select Wipe Data.
- Once done, you’ll be rerouted to your home page.
On the other hand, if your account is more than 60 days, you’ll need to cancel your account and subscribe to a new one. Before canceling your account, it would be wise to save a copy of your data for your future use.
