How to get a failed deposit re-deposited to correct bank account

Hello @info1335,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. Let me help you with your deposit concern in QuickBooks.

You'll need to correct the bank account information first in QuickBooks. Our Payments Team will start the transfer process as soon as you update the details.

To update, here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙and then select Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Payments tab. In the Deposits section next to Standard Deposits, select Change bank.
  4. Select Add new bank account.
  5. Enter the Routing Number and Account Number of the bank account you want to change to. Tip: You can also log in to your bank directly to save time and data entry.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Review the bank account info and is selected, then select Submit.

In case it took too long for the funds to be deposited, please contact our QuickBooks Payments Team. One of them will be able to take over in a secure space and ensure the funds will be transferred.

For additional reference, I've attached a link you can use to learn more about the types of accounts you can use in QuickBooks (scroll down to Learn what types of accounts you can deposit payments into): Change the account QuickBooks deposits payments into.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be happy to help you some more.

How long does this process usually take? The correct bank information was updated 5 business days ago and we still have not seen the deposit resubmitted.

I can share some information with updating payments account, @info1335.

After updating your bank account information, we deposit your funds within five business days after the first payment. Then, a lot quicker after this one. Usually within two business days.

See this article for more information on how to handle a rejected or failed bank transfer payment.
