Join now I have successfully managed to import a csv file, however it is not recognising the cells which are left blank (to represent €0). Can anyone advise on why this i sthe case? i also am now unsure of how to remove the csv file that I imported.
Thanks!
Hi Atoll,
In QuickBooks Online, you can only use the 3-column or 4-column format when importing CSV files. For the formatting restrictions, cells with zeroes (€0) are not allowed anywhere and should be left blank.
You can check this article for other formatting restrictions: How To Import Bank Transactions Using Excel CSV Files.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions about QuickBooks. Thanks.
Thanks for this. I have left the cells where a 0 should be clear. But Quickbooks still comes up with an error for these specific cells and I am unable to import it, for this reason only. Everything else is fine.
Thanks for getting back to me, Atoll.
To investigate this import error message, please contact one of our Phone Support Team. They have more resources available and can help you check the CSV file.
