It would be my pleasure to provide you the steps on how to enter the test deposit amount in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
First, is create an expense, let me guide you on how.
- Go to the Banking menu, then select Write checks.
- In the Bank Account drop-down arrow, select the bank where the fund is taken out.
- Enter the amount, then click Save and close.
Once done, you can now deposit the amount. Here's how:
- Select Banking, then choose the Make Deposits tab.
- Pick the bank where you will deposit the amount in the Deposit To the drop-down arrow.
- Complete the needed information in the box, then hit Save & close.
