I am buying an existing business. How do I transfer the business's quickbooks data into my quickbooks account?

You can export the data from the business old QuickBooks account and import it to your account. Let me walk you through how to do it.

 

First, here's how to export the data:

  1. Go to the Gear icon,.
  2. Choose Export.
  3. Select which data you'd like to export.
  4. Click on the Export to Excel button.

Now, you can import each of the downloaded files to our account, one by one. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon at the upper right.
  2. Choose Import Data.
  3. Select the type of data that you'd like to import.
  4. Click Browse to select a file.
  5. Hit on the Next button until finished.
