I am doing a Bank Deposit, I want to change the account to be credited from a revenue account to an undeposited funds account (1210 in our books) but getting error msg?

The error message says select a bank account for this deposit.... says "something is not right"

Hello there, dreena327.

When creating a bank deposit, you don't need to affect the Undeposited Funds account. Instead, select an income or expense account. On the other hand, if you want the income to go through the Undeposited Funds, you can select it in the Deposit to field option when you create a sales receipt or invoice payment.

If you want to adjust the amount of both Undeposited Funds and Bank account, you'll want to create a Journal Entry

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm just around the corner to help. You stay safe!

Are you trying to change the account being deposited to? That is what the error sounds like. And deposits do utilize transactions (payments) sitting in Undeposited Funds. You should not be specifying the UF account but instead select a payment spreadsheet in it.  Because UF is a special asset account you would never affect it by posting directly to or from it
