Hi appointments,

We didn't receive a report about this issue. We'll want to make sure that you'll get the best help you need.

You'll have to ensure that .CSV file doesn't include symbols or characters to prevent any error. Let me provide the correct formatting for CSV files.

  • Remove zeros (0) from the file and leave those cells blank.
  • Correct any transactions that display a number in the Description column.
  • Remove the word amount if it appears in the name of the Credit or Debit column (Credit amount and Debit amount are incorrect).
  • MAC users must save the file as a Windows CSV file.
  • Correct and standardize the Date format to a single format (for example, dd/mm/yyyy).
  • Some banks provide the day of the week and include it in the Date column

Here's an article for the complete information: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files: How to Import Bank Transactions.

However, if you're referring to your transactions in online banking which are not syncing to QuickBooks Online, you can try running a manual update.

Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Update.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.

For future reference, please check this article when categorizing bank transactions: Match and Categorize Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Post a reply if you need further assistance. I'll be here to help.
