I am missing some synced transactions from a credit card account attached to my Quickbooks any ideas?

I'll share with you the steps to get the missing transactions, nikki28.

There are possible causes why some synced transactions are missing in QuickBooks, and I've listed them below:

  • Some credit card companies don't post transactions for download until later in the day or the next morning.
  • Depending on which bank, it will show a transaction on their website but won't download the transaction until it posts.
  • If the missing transactions are the most recent ones, wait at least 24 hours in case your bank doesn't make them available immediately.

Since you've performed some troubleshooting steps to fix this, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. One of our representatives can securely check your account to determine the root cause of this. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Talk to a human.
  3. Type in missing credit card transactions in the Type something field.
  4. Click the send icon.
  5. Choose I still need a human.
  6. Click Contact Us.
  7. Select the Send a message button.
  8. Enter the necessary details, then click Continue.

In the meantime, you can manually upload the transactions to bring them into QuickBooks. I'll guide you how:

To download transactions from your financial institution:

  1. Log into your bank’s website.
  2. Follow the steps to download your transactions using an acceptable file format.
  3. Set the date range.
  4. Follow any on-screen instructions to finish the download.
  5. Reformat the file if necessary.
  6. Save the file to your computer.

To upload the file:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and then select Banking
  2. Choose the blue tile for the account.
  3. Click File upload from the Update drop-down.
  4. Select Browse and locate the file you downloaded from your bank, then click Next
  5. From the QuickBooks account drop-down menu, choose the credit card account.
  6. Click Next
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  8. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields, then select Next.
  9. Choose Let's go

For detailed instructions, see the second to fifth steps through this article: Manually Upload Transactions into QuickBooks Online

Once downloaded, you can edit and categorize your transactions in the For Review tab. It helps you ensure your financial records are accurate. For more information, I encourage you to check out this article: Categorizing Transactions
