I am trying to enter my first income transaction. I choose Income under the 'type' heading, but it keeps adding to my expense total & then says "transaction not found"?

Hi @drjoeygold-gmail , try to clear cache (click here ) and browsing history or try in different browser engine then enter transaction manually (click here  to see how add transaction manually). Comment back, cheers.

Let's get this working so you can record everything, drjoeygold-gmail.

Cache helps browser's background processes. However, it can also cause issues when piled up. This might me the reason why we encounter the error. Here's how to get rid of any cache-related concerns:

  1. Open a private browser and log in to your QBSE account. It uses but doesn't store cache.
  2. If you can enter your income transaction successfully, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.
  3. Other supported browsers are good alternatives, too. Each of them uses a different cache.

Aside from that, you can also connect your bank account so you can easily manage your transactions. You can browse these links to know more:

Let us know how this goes so we can further assist you. Additional details such as screenshots would be much appreciated. Have a great day!
