I am trying to reconcile my Quickbooks with my bank statements and the checkmark box that used to be there is gone? How can I include/exclude transactions when reconcile?

Let me share some troubleshooting steps so you'd be able to successfully reconcile your bank statements. 


The reconcile checkmark box is located below the print icon. It's possible that the window screen or browser you're using is zoomed in. Let's first make sure that the browser you're using is not zoomed in. If the page is bigger than the browser window, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and the minus (-) key repeatedly to zoom out. By doing this, you'd be able to mark only those transactions you want to include in the reconciliation.

 

However, if the issue persists, you can access your QuickBooks account using a private browser to isolate this concern for browser-related. You can use any of these keyboard shortcuts to open a private/incognito browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + N

Once logged in, you can try reconciling your account again.  If you're able to see the checkmark box, you'd want to return to your default browser and perform a clear cache. Doing so will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. Also, you can try using other supported browsers.
