Error 185 indicates that an additional layer of identity verification is required by your bank to re-establish your connection. This could be multi-factor authentication, a one-time password, etc. To get pass through this, simple click Send a request in the error message, and you will receive an email with a link that allows you to log back in and reconnect.
Since this added security feature is managed by your bank, you may receive Error 185 again when QuickBooks attempts to reconnect to your bank for updates. Having said that, you may want to consider using the manual upload process as an alternative. This option lets you control transaction imports and avoid interruptions from repeated verifications.
