Try open your QBO account on the private/incognito browser and redo the uploading process. If the same error persists, utilize the trial version of this app to insolate the issue.

Hello there, anya3.

I can share some information on how to fix bank upload errors aside from what Fiat Lux - ASIA shared. I'd like to ask about the specific error you got so I can walk you through the correct steps. You can use this link for more details: Fix bank upload errors in QuickBooks Online.

You can also check out these links for more details in manually importing your bank transactions.

Keep me posted on how this works. Take care and have a great day!

Hello Catherine! Thanks a lot for your reply. Please see my file format attached so that you can be sure that it actually has the needed 3 columns but QB doesn't accept it. I have no idea what to do :)

Welcome back, anya3.

It looks like the file was not successfully attached. Furthermore, if you have the 3 column format, make sure of the following:

  • In the QuickBooks Map columns field, select 1 column: Both positive and negative numbers.
  • From the Amount drop-down, choose Column 3: Amount.
  • Check if the date format matches from your CSV file.

Here's a sample screenshot of what it looks like:

You can read this article for more details about the process: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Please let me know how it goes. I'll keep an eye out for your reply. Stay safe!
