There might be an active account associated with your billing information, kalei-mahi.

 

We're unable to check your account here in the Community. I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed support so they can check and provide options for the refund.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click the Help icon, then hit the Contact us button. 
  2. Enter "billing charges on canceled account" in the box or type something similar along the lines. 
  3. Proceed with Continue
  4. Choose either Start a chat or Get a callback

I cancelled my account almost a year ago and they are still charging me. How do I get my money refunded for all the months they've charged me?

This has just happened to me today. There is NO ONE TO TALK TO. The phone hangs up on you. And there is NO assistance whatsoever. They keep charging people. I want my money back NOW. This sounds like a class action lawsuit.

Our chat, callback, or call is available 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday-Friday and 6:00 AM-3:00 PM Saturday Pacific Time. However, hours exclude occasional downtime due to system and server maintenance, company events, observed U.S. holidays, and events beyond our control.

 

You can contact our live support team during those hours mentioned above to get your money back. If you have a QuickBooks Self-Employed app on your phone:

  • iPhone or iPad: Tap the button on the dashboard, then select Ask QB Assistant.
  • Android: Tap the chat bubble icon on any screen.

Once you're in, they can check and verify if there are no other active accounts associated on file. Then, they'll validate if you can get a refund.
