I cannot change my user ID for windows QB desktop 2019 to sign in

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble signing in to my intuit account from within QB 2019 Pro windows.  When I click on the sign in link under My Company it opens up a brower window with a user name filled in.  The problem is that this isn't my user name and it is grayed out so I cannot change it.

Any help on how I can change it so I have the correct user name (email address) filled in?

Thank you for trying to help me Fait Lux - ASIA.  The answer to my question I found by calling Intuit tech support.  By going to the help menu and selecting Reset Intuit ID Settings... I was able to remove the grayed out user id and enter in my current.  This in turn allowed me to add bank feeds.

Thanks for the tip.  I am a little confused about how QB desktop works when it is signing in.  When I click on links within QB, it seems to open a browser window (I suspect internet explorer) within QB and shows the login page.  If I go through the sign in link I showed, then the wrong user name is present and I cannot change it because it is grayed out.  If I click on manage my account then a browser window opens up but I can change the user name.

 

Are you suggesting that I open another browser (e.g. Google Chrome) and sign in there or open another window of internet explorer with the link below and sign in.

 

How does signing in through a desktop browser allow QB to then work?

P.S.  The reason I need to sign in through my company is so that I can get my bank feeds to work.

hi @ steven_dennis ,

When we open CAMPS on QuickBooks, it will be open on IE by default. If someone else has open CAMPS earlier, your browser might be "remembered" the last one. It is why you need try opening CAMPS on other browser or using incognito browser to ensure you are log in with your own credential. Please keep in mind, you have to log in as Primary Contact to modify everything inside CAMPS.

 

Please notice the QuickBooks menu Banking > Bank Feeds > Set Up Bank Feed for an Account. Did you try it?
