There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies), causing some unusual responses. To isolate this, signing into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a private browser (incognito).
Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
Once logged in, try to disconnect your PayPal again to double-check. Here's how:
- In QBO, go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
- Select the tile for the bank account.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon, then pick Edit account info.
- Tick the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
- Hit Save and Close.
If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
