Hi there, hotdogmaster.

I'll make sure that you can get your last year's transaction.

Once you connect your bank account, QuickBooks will automatically download your transactions for the last three months. If you need to get the older transactions, you'll have to upload them manually. You can start by going to your bank's website and follow the instructions on how to download them. Currently, these are our supported file formats:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

Next, open and review the file from your bank to ensure that it's in the correct format. Once you're all set up and ready, here's how to upload the file:

  1. Select Transactions or Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab, then select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Select Upload from file from the Link account drop-down menu.
  4. Click Browse and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, hit Next.
  5. In the QuickBooks account drop-down menu, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, click Next.
  6. Match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  8. When you're done, click Let's go.

Additionally, here are some articles that you can browse to help review and reconcile your online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online:

I'm just a comment away if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions. Have a great rest of the day.
