Welcome to the Community, @davelester-cox-n.

I can provide information that will help you track sub-accounts and classes in QuickBooks Online.

You can create sub-accounts of any parent account to keep things organized and make more detailed reports. I've included the steps below to show you how to create one:

  1. Navigate to the gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Press new, then choose an account type and detail type.
  3. Check the Is a sub-account checkbox and enter the parent account.
  4. Give your sub-account a name, then click When do you want to start tracking your finances from this account in QuickBooks option.
  5. Press Save and Close.

To use the track classes function, we will first want to make sure its been turned on. Here's how:

  1. Go to the gear icon and hit Account & Settings.
  2. Select the Advanced tab, then click in the Categories section.
  3. Check the box beside Track classes.
  4. Push Save.

Now you can use both features to help manage your company. You can check out these articles for more info:

Please don't hesitate to touch base with me here if you need any additional assistance. I look forward to hearing from you again.
