Hello briestconsulting,

 

Welcome to the Community. I'd be glad to help you change the bank account for the tax payments in QuickBooks Online.

 

You can only change the bank account of a sales tax during the process of creating the payment. If there's a need for you to correct them, you'll need to delete and re-enter the amount from the Sales Tax section.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On the left panel, go to Taxes.
  2. Go to the Sales Tax tab.
  3. Delete the payment below Paid (automated sales tax) or Recent Sales Tax Payments (old sales tax).

Please note that once you remove a payment, the tax will show again from what you owe. For your visual guide on the automated and old sales tax view, I'm attaching some sample screenshots below:

  2. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
