I have 2 bank accounts in quickbooks. How do I get my customer to deposit into the correct bank account?

Hello hannahb1,

Currently, we can only use one account at a time when collecting payments from your customers. However, we can we change it from one account to another if you need to.

  1. Log in to your QBO account using a web browser.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Payments tab and go to the Deposit accounts section.
  4. Click the Change hyperlink next to the current bank account.
  5. Select Add new bank account and enter the details.
  6. Click Save and Submit.
  7. Click Done to close the Account and Settings page.

Note that this doesn't change how QuickBooks categorize the payments on your Chart of Accounts. Do the changes before your customer submits its payments.

Feel free to browse this article to know more about it: Change the account QuickBooks deposits payments into.

We'll be right here if you need anything else. Have a great day.
