I have a connection issue with my Silicon Valley Bank account (SVB)

Hi,

 

I tried to sync my SVB bank account to online QB account this morning, but I got a notice "If that doesn't work, there's a temporary connection problem between QuickBooks and the bank. We are working to resolve this. Try updating again tomorrow. (102)  " 

I waited few hours and tried again, still could not sync, and I got the same notification.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Connecting your bank account with QuickBooks is my priority, @SSylvia.

 

I'm here to help walk you through connecting your bank with QuickBooks.

 

For starters, you'll need to create a Direct Connect PIN in your bank's online website so you'll be able to connect with QuickBooks successfully.

 

Here's how:

  1. Login to your SVB Online Banking account.
  2. Choose My Security under your name.
  3. Scroll down and  click on Manage My SVB Direct Connect PIN.
  4. Create your Direct Connect PIN.

Once created, you can now connect your SVB bank account with QuickBooks.

Thanks for getting back to me. 

Sorry that I wast not clear earlier. I was able to connect the SVB account with QB in the past, I just have this issue this morning. 

What can I do now.

Allow me to chime in and share additional updates about the Error 102 when trying to connect the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) account in QBO.

 

There is currently an open investigation about this problem, and our Product Team is working with your Financial Institution to resolve the unexpected behavior as early as possible. While our engineers are still implementing a fix for this hitch, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Care Team so they can add you to our list of affected users. You can provide this investigation number INV-30242 to our live support agents.

 

Once added, an email will be sent to you with any new information to assure you're up to date with the progress of the investigation. Rest assured, I will also personally keep you posted here in this thread for any updates available. To contact us, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the (?) Help menu at the top right section of your QBO Dashboard.
  2. Tap the Contact us button.
