Reclassify Transaction Tools in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) allows you to choose a group of transactions and re-class them into another account. This feature can also reclassify classes and sales tax codes in bulk. You can check this resource for additional information.
To make this possible, you’ll want to reach out to your accountant and invite them. Here’s how you do it:
- From the home screen, click on the Gear icon.
- Beneath the column heading labeled “Your Company,” select the Manage Users tab.
- Choose Accounting firms.
- Click Invite Accountant to open a new invitation.
- Enter your accountant’s name and email address into the text boxes.
- Hit Next, then click Finish once you’re done.
Your accountant will get an email with a link to your QuickBooks. From there, they can directly start working on your records.
