I have connected my Bank of Texas account but it will not remain connected
We can perform some steps to see if this is just triggered by your bank, or in QuickBooks Online (QBO), patrick-auraenrg.
I've checked here on our end and there's no reported case about this one. There are a few possible reasons why the bank account not remained connected in QBO. Among these are:
The bank recently made some changes with their security feature or connection.
Log in credentials set up in QBO doesn't match with the online banking login.
QBO is unable to connect to your bank's website.
Also, it could be your bank's website is undergoing maintenance or server issues. The period it gets fixed will depend on your financial institution and most of them resolve the issue within 24 hours. To check if the connection is back, try manually updating your bank. Here's how:
Go to the Banking menu to get to the Banking page.
You may send a message via chat, call us at a time convenient to you, or we’ll get in touch with you instead. To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays, PST. As a workaround, you'll want to consider manually uploading your bank transactions into QBO. You can start by signing in to your bank's website and follow the instructions on the article provided on how to download them. After uploading it, let's go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions.
